Starting at 7:00 pm every Tuesday, local musicians gather in the Occidental Saloon and perform both cover songs and originals. Open mic night is open to public performers and listeners and there is never a cover charge. To participate in the Open Mic Night all you have to do is see the host to sign-up.

Starting at about 7:00 PM every Thursday evening, a group of local musicians gather in the Occidental Saloon and wow their audience with some of the best Bluegrass, Western and Folk music in the land. The event started with a very humble beginning in 2006 and has now grown into a hugely popular local event. Not only does the Jam showcase local talent, it is often a venue for other skilled musicians who may "just be passing through" and are welcomed to "sit in." The Jam is always open to the public and there is never a cover charge.
